I’m not one to brag, but I am SO proud of myself that I just have to share it with you. Yesterday, for the first time in my life, I ran 4km nonstop. I did this in under half an hour, just 🙂 My unofficial time was 29.45 minutes. Unfortunately there was no time registration during the race. Not bad for someone who has like never done anything on running in her entire life until 7 weeks ago.
My husband was also very proud of me and surprised me with flowers. Number 983, that’s me.
And to prove my time, here a photo of my stopwatch 😀
When was the last time you did something so out of your comfort zone that you just have to be proud of yourself for actually undertaking it, no matter what the outcome was? It’s scary and rewarding at the same time.
One nutty thing done this week!
With love,
Esther
Congratulations!! That is a great achievement!!

Well done you! 🙂
As someone unable to run, it’s so nice to see others succeed. I look forward to your future posts where you beat that score 🙂

Sorry to hear that your body can’t run, but I am sure your heart does and that’s what matters most. That our heart is warm and full of support for the people around us. 🙂

I’ll do my best, but the boston marathon is a little out of my traveling budget from the Netherlands 🙂
