Landleven winter fair giveaway

I just had the best weekend in a long time! On Saturday I was at the Scheepjes stand at the Landleven Winter Fair which took place in the Openluchtmuseum in Arnhem (NL). I met up with the lovely Esther from Happy in Red (on the left) and Nerissa from Miss Neriss (on the right) We were at the stand all day to help newbies catch the crochet virus and chat with experienced crocheters about our love for all things yarny.

You could sit with us to crochet a granny square or try your best to keep away from the shop hosted by Scheepjes and Margriet from Sparkelz Creatief (the photo-bomber between Nerissa and me 😀 ).

Granny square scarf or cowl

We spend all day making grannys and, I will be honest, at the end of the day I could not see another granny! With the kit sold at the fair you had a hook and enough yarn to make a cute scarf or cowl of your own. Included in the kit is a pattern and a DUTCH video to show you how to make both projects step-by-step.

If you were not able to attend the winter fair, I have a small consolation for you. I am giving away one of the yarn kits from the fair! This kit includes 3 balls of Scheepjes Mix yarn, a 4mm crochet hook and a pattern for making a granny square scarf or cowl. If you would like to win this giveaway, leave your name in the comments below this post. This giveaway is open only to people living in The Netherlands. I will announce the winner on New Year’s day.

  1. I love the scarf hanging down from your yarn shelf in one of the pictures. It is in the autumn colours and they are stars. Would it be possible to get this pattern?
    Thank you
