Sammy lace shawl completed

Remember the lace shawl designed by Bernioli I was working on that I showed you earlier? It’s all done! I made my shawl with Fyberspates Scrumptious 4ply yarn that I bought at Unravel earlier this year. Scrumptious 4ply  is a 4-ply/sport superwash merino/silk blend yarn that is super soft to the touch and is really warm too.

Yarn amounts & colorway

I used 3 colors of Fyberspates Scrumptious 4ply yarn in the colors Charcoal, Gold, and Oyster and a 3mm hook. Grey and gold is one of my favorite color combinations.

The pattern consists of 3 parts; I made part 1 with Charcoal, part 2 with Gold and part 3 with Oyster. One skein of each color is sufficient for Sammy shawl.

Finished Shawl

I love lace shawls, and I really enjoyed making this wonderful design in a lovely yarn. Maybe I should try my hand at designing a lace shawl….

With love,

Esther

  1. Lovely shawl, Esther. Your stitches are so precise looking! I can’t tell, but the main body of the shawl looks like it’s knit, so did you use the technique to make crochet stitches look like they’ve been knitted? Such a beautiful lacey border! Awesome results!
