Sweet Dreams Baby Blanket Reveal

My Sweet Dreams baby blanket is finished! The blanket consists of 20 squares with a border in a white/blue or a white/pink colorway. The soft pouder blue and pink colors give the blanket a bit of color without being too overwhelming. Soft, fluffy, and a bit playful is what I’m going for with the color placement.

The colored circles that form the center of each square are framed by either a completely white, or a white/colored square. By alternating the placement of the squares a playful pattern emerges which is surprisingly simple to create.

The yarn that I’m using, Scheepjes Eliza yarn, is a 100% polyester yarn which is incredibly soft and hypoallergenic. Perfect for baby projects! Scheepjes Eliza is/was available from Wool Warehouse (UK/International), Knotty House (CA/US) or your local Scheepjes Stockist. Thank you for supporting my work by buying your yarn through the links on my blog. ❤

Like two best friends the blue and pink blankets go together. When was the last time you sat on a bench with your best friend?

Next week I will share the pattern for my Sweet Dreams Baby Blanket with you. Hope to see you then.

With love,

Esther
