And it’s all done! With Part 12 Elements CAL comes to and end. I am slightly late with the video tutorial for part 12, I know, my apologies. I have been extremely busy this last month managing work, home, my social obligations, and my crochet obligations.

Video tutorial Part 12
In the final video of the series I show you how to do the border. If you want to extend your border, you can best do so after round 4. I also talk about this in the video.
Yarn & kits
There are official Elements CAL yarn kits available from Hooks and Yarn. I have made my own colorway using Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn in the following 5 colors.
- Color 1 – Moonstone (801)
- Color 2 – Lilac Quartz (818)
- Color 3 – Deep Amethyst (811)
- Color 4 – Lepidolite (830)
- Color 5 – Boulder Opal (804)
Scheepjes Stone Washed is available from Wool Warehouse (UK/Int), Black Sheep Wools (UK/Int), Love Crochet (US), Knotty House (CA), Caro’s Atelier (NL/EU) or your local Scheepjes Stockist. In addition to the yarn you will also need a 4mm hook. Thank you for supporting my work by buying your yarn through the links on my blog. ❤
Colorway
I have used the following colors for my border. After Round 4 of the border I have added extra rounds to extend the border before finishing with the last 3 rounds of the pattern.
- Round 1 – Moonstone 801
- Round 2 – Moonstone 801
- Round 3 – Moonstone 801
- Round 4 – Lilac Quartz 818
- Extra 1 – Lilac Quartz 818
- Extra 2 – Deep Amethyst 811
- Extra 3 – Deep Amethyst 811
- Extra 4 – Lepidolite 830
- Extra 5 – Lepidolite 830
- Round 5 – Boulder Opal 804
- Round 6 – Moon Stone 801
- Round 7 – Boulder Opal 804
Finial Yarn amounts
I have finished my blanket which means I can now give you my final yarn amounts. These amounts are higher than the official kits because I have extended my border. I have used:
- 7 x Moonstone (801)
- 7 x Lilac Quartz (818)
- 8 x Deep Amethyst (811)
- 7 x Lepidolite (830)
- 9 x Boulder Opal (804).
Feel free to share your beautiful Elements blankets on my Facebook page, Instagram, or share your work in my It’s all in a Nutshell Crochet Nuts group on Facebook. I would love to see your beautiful creations.
With love,
Esther

I would love to get started, and am an experienced crocheter, but am quite a novice when it comes to the computer. I don’t know how to find a CAL tutorial once I sign up for lessons. I usually use a printed pattern, b/c I can follow that, although the video is so helpful. I would like the 12 part series, but in a printed form if possible. If the videos are on YouTube, I can find them. Please help…..this is such a beautiful project! We don’t usually use email although we have an address.

You can find each part of the 12-part pattern on the website of the designer here: https://hooksandyarn.com/elements-cal/
Scroll a bit down, you will find the pattern. There are 12 individual parts, so you will have to print each part.

I would love that pattern

Do you have written instructions? Where I live the phone service is pretty sketchy.
Thank you
