Today just a quick post because it is the start of my autumn break and I have a few more things to get done before we leave on Monday. Somehow the waffle pattern of part 8 of Stitch Story fits very well with my holiday feelings. Totally feel like having a warm waffle, with cherries and ice cream and everything!
Stitch Story crochet along is designed by Heather Gibbs and I am making video tutorials for her CAL. All info, with links to the pattern and support groups is under Resources.

Video tutorial Part 8
The waffle pattern for part 8 is surprisingly easy. You may want to go up a hook size of two on this pattern because the front and back post stitches make the fabric pull in a lot.
My squares for Part 8
I am still making my Stitch Story blanket in one color of Scheepjes River Washed yarn, specifically shade River Washed Wheaton (950). Scheepjes River Washed is available from Wool Warehouse (UK/Int), Black Sheep Wools (UK), Knotty House (CA), Caro’s Atelier (NL/EU) and many other Scheepjes stockists worldwide. Thank you for supporting my work by buying your yarn through the links on my blog ❤
Happy autumn break for those going away soon. For the rest of you, keep warm and happy crocheting everyone! See you soon for part 9 of Stitch Story.
With love,
Esther
