Bitter sweet day today; Ubuntu is finished. It has been quite a journey, with a few tricky bits here and there, but the result is beautiful. After completing the final border rounds, you get to add the button and label from your kit. My large kit blanket turned into a massive blanket, large enough to use as a rug if you wanted to. My boys love the blanket to bits.
Ubuntu is designed Dedri Uys from Look at What I made for the Scheepjes crochet along 2018. Under Resources you find all the links and information you need for Ubuntu.

Video tutorials Part 12
The final rounds are relatively easy, if you came this far, you will not have any issues with the last rounds. They are wonderfully relaxing rounds adding a bit of color to the outer edge of the blanket. If you feel more confident following along with the videos, they are available in English with UK terminology in right and left handed versions; as well as Dutch in, again, right and left handed versions. In the video description there is a link to the start of each round. If you click on the time stamp given, it will take you to the start of that round in the video.
Finish the blanket by adding your label to the banksia flower border,
and the button to the center of the blanket.
And that’s it, one fabulous blanket completed! But what to do with those beads I hear you wonder…..
With love,
Esther
