This week, we are making the last square of Stitch Story. The square has a wavy pattern which is not as hard to make as you may think. It is however easy to make a mistake in the stitch pattern, so in the video for this week I help you as much as I can with tips on how to use stitch markers to keep you from making a mistake. All info, with links to the pattern for Stitch Story crochet along designed by Heather Gibbs as well as other information is under Resources.

Video tutorial Part 12
The pattern for part 12 is not so much difficult, as it is easy to make a mistake. I have worked this stitch before, and I have found it a must to use stitch markers to help me keep track of where I am. The slip stitches are hard to see sometimes and if you work too many slip stitches or work in the wrong loops, the pattern gets all mixed up.
A happy stack of squares
After making the last squares you will have a happy pile of squares, all ready to be joined. I am making my Stitch Story blanket in Scheepjes River Washed Wheaton (950). Scheepjes River Washed is available from Wool Warehouse (UK/Int), Black Sheep Wools (UK), Knotty House (CA), Caro’s Atelier (NL/EU), and many other Scheepjes stockists worldwide. Thank you for supporting my work by buying your yarn through the links on my blog ❤
Next time we join the squares and make the border. Al in time for Christmas if you want to gift your blanket to someone.
With love,
Esther
