Other nutty stuff

Site images down

Hi everyone,

Just a quick note from me, it seems that almost ALL the images on my site are down. I am just slightly panicked here. I hope to have it fixed soon, but if not, I will get it up and running over the next few weeks.

UPDATE: It seems that there is an issue with my Google Photo’s. I will have to manually relink all my photos, it is what it is. I kindly ask for your patience as I rebuild my website over the next few months. I only need to go back and redo 500 posts and pages…..

With love,

Esther

  1. Hi Esther,
This must be very stressful for you. Take a deep breath and one step at a time, you will get there. So many people love and appreciate your work and videos, I’m sure we will be patient and bear with you while you sort it out ❤

I’m sure I speak for everyone who follows your blog when I say that we love your work, your videos have helped us enormously, and we will wait patiently and supportively for as long as it takes. Don’t stress, go stroke a cat, have a cup of tea and remember how wonderful you are.

  5. I too am having major issues with my blog images, I blog on Blogger, store my photos on Google Photos. There is something going on here, not sure how many of us have been “hit”. I lost all imaged from about July 1st (give or take a few days) back to at least April of 2019.

    1. They seem to have changed the URLs for the images. That is the problem for me. So now I am downloading all my images from google photos, and uploading them to my wordpress server. And then relinking them from the new server. I have 5 years of work the go back and fix. It takes loads of time. I am done crying, I am now in fixing mode.

      1. I have over 2400 posts done over 10 years plus time frame. I am not about to spend 10 more years fixing this mess from Google Photos. I will walk away from my blog and do other things with my life, there are plenty of things to do. I do not have my blog monetized, so I won’t be punished for such a decision.

I wish you all the luck with your fixes.
