This last week you have made a gauge swatch, and now you are all set for Rozeta. I know many of you can’t wait! Part 1 of Rozeta is now available, and in this post you find the video tutorials, and all other links you might need under resources and video tutorials. Rozeta is the Scheepjes crochet along 2019, and is designed by Tatsiana from Lilla Bjorn Crochet.

There are kits available for all 4 colorways and in 2 yarns, which means that there has to be a kit that fits both your color preference and your budget. The Luxury Kit contains 11 Balls of Scheepjes Our Tribe and the Colour Crafter kit contains 15 balls of Scheepjes Colour Crafter. The final Colour Crafter blanket measures 175 x 145cm and the Our Tribe blanket 118 x 148cm.
Kits are available for order from Caro’s Atelier (NL/EU), Wool Warehouse (UK/International), Deramores (UK), Black Sheep Wools (UK), Knotty House (CA), and many other Scheepjes stockists. Thank you for supporting my work by buying your yarn through the links on my blog.
All kits have a Rozeta label, a decorative wooden ornament, a darning needle, and a string of embroidery yarn. The luxury Our Tribe kits also contain a large basket to carry all your Rozeta yarn goodies.
Part 1 video tutorials
In part 1 of Rozeta we work the first 14 rounds of the pattern. If you have made the gauge swatch, you can continue with round 6, because the gauge swatch is the first 5 rounds of the pattern. In this first video I take it very, very slow and try to give as many tips as possible. In later videos, I will go a bit faster.
I am using the Dusk colorway in the beautiful Our Tribe yarn for my blanket. The first flower petals of the central rozet are taking shape. If we were to stop now, it would be a beautiful mandala on its own.
Next week, in part 2, we will grow the rozet further.
