Bohemian Temperature Wrap Autumn Update

2019 is on its final sprint, but before we head full on into Christmas, a quick update on my Bohemian Temperature Wrap. Summer has turned into autumn, and we are even getting a glimpse of winter already, and the changes in the weather has left a beautiful mark on my temperature wrap.

Autumn update

Last time I showed you my wrap, it was summer, with a lot of red and purple stripes in my wrap. We have had a very hot summer this year with all time highs recorded. At this time we have left summer behind us, and cooler weather is finding its way to the northern hemisphere. The cooler temperatures has brought green and blue back into my wrap. The blues bring a welcome balance to the bright colors of the summer months.

I am still very much behind on my yarn tails, I haven’t worked them away since July! Somehow there are always nicer things to do than work away yarn tails!

Make your own Bohemian Temperature Wrap

To make a Bohemian Temperature Wrap, you need 8 colors of Scheepjes Cotton 8. The colors I have chosen make a classic rainbow from cool to warm colors. In my announcement post I make an estimate regarding yarn amounts. Scheepjes Cotton 8 yarn is available from Wool Warehouse (International), Knotty House (USA?CA), Caro’s Atelier (NL) and many other Scheepjes Stockists. Deramores (UK) have made a starter pack available which includes all the colors.

The pattern for the wrap is a triangular shape worked in linen stitch, starting from one corner and gradually increasing along the diagonal. January 1st has only one stitch, and December 31st has around 170 stitches. All details regarding the stitch pattern, gauge and stitch counts is in the written pattern available in English and Dutch.
