  1. Hi I would love to win the TLC blanket kit, I’m 65 years old and recently fell and broke both the bones in my leg, dislocated my ankle and displaced my heel. I had to undergo surgery and was unable to walk for over 6 weeks. During this time I taught myself through watching your tutorials and found i really do enjoy crouching. I hope I am lucky enough to be selected, if not I wish all the best yo the luck ones. Many thanks Hazel

I am in for some me-time, yarn + hook give me that ✨

I’d love to win a TLC kit. My favorite yarn is Scheepjes. And it’s all thanks to Esther and the crochet-alongs she so kindly does for us all.
Crocheting is my way of relaxing and getting away from anxiety and depression. It really helps as a coping mechanism for me. And out of all that I make a beautiful treasure I can use myself or share with others.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to win a kit. What a great gift!

    Lieve groet

  31. I love to crochet for various reasons.
I love to create beautiful blankets by simply using a hook and looping yarn. It fascinates me the beauty that can come from such a simple process.
I also love how cathartic crochet is. In times of stress, crochet helps me to relax and unwind. It slowly stops me snacking!

I’ve never tried crochet before but I’ve had such a lot of bad news recently, (won’t bore you with it all here!) I try reading books and doing other things but my mind wanders off. It would be a wonderful surprise and a dream come true to be given an opportunity to make something as beautiful as this, (something i can make for my daughter to remember me too) especially with the support you would provide for a beginner like me.
