My d’Histoire Naturelle: Herbarium
I made my blanket using the Stone Washed Herbarium colorway. Over the past weeks our blanket changed shape several times. In part 1 we made a square, which we turned into an octagon crawling with bugs in part 2, and in part 3 we made a circle decorated with leaves. Then came part 4 with minerals and lace, and in part 5 elephants and other large animals walked over our blanket. In the final part we added a shell border to finish off the detailed blanket.
I enjoyed making my blanket, it is a detailed design that doesn’t get repetitive. I have gifted my blanket to a friend of mine, here it is all folded up, ready to go to a new home.
With this final part, d’Histoire Naturelle is now completed. I hope to see you again soon for a new project.
With love,
Esther
