Diamondiferous Delight Shawl finished

I am working on a shawl using Scheepjes Whirl Fine Arts and matching Merino Soft, and I am totally chuffed with the final result. Time to show you the finished shawl. What was I doing again? The idea is to extend the Whirl Fine Arts either side with the corresponding Merino Soft color, thereby keeping the color transition of the Whirl Fine Arts intact, but extending the first and last color.

Merino Soft and Whirl Fine Art are available from Wool Warehouse (UK/Int), Black Sheep Wools (UK), Caro’s Atelier (NL/BE), Creahuys41 (NL), and many Scheepjes Stockists world wide.

The shawl is large, comfortable and very wearable with a wonderful drape. The diamond pattern is clearly showing, and the overall look and feel of the shawl is both practical and usable.

The shawl is completely reversible; there is no right or wrong side. This means you don’t have to worry if you are wearing it ‘correctly’.

Next week I will have the *free* written Diamondiferous Delight Shawl pattern available for you, in Dutch and English. There will NOT be a video tutorial for this pattern, but in my honest opinion, I believe the pattern is such that you should be just fine.

With love,
Esther

  1. This shawl is gorgeous! I’m inspired to try finer yarns to achieve a softer drape. I’m new to your videos. I think I recently saw the African sunset shawl video which led me to your blog & the TLC blanket. Google recommended this post. I’m glad I found your work.
