Nuts about Squares CAL – Week 12

Many happy weeks have come and gone, and it is amazing that we have already arrived at week 12 of Nuts about Squares CAL in which we will be making our last set of squares before joining our blanket. I have kept this square for last because it is one of my favorites for the CAL, this week we are making Lise by Polly Plum.

Yarn kits

There are three colorways available for Nuts about Squares

available as kits from Wool Warehouse,  Caro’s Atelier or your favorite Scheepjes stockists. Thank you for supporting my work by buying your yarn through the links on my blog.

Color chart

The colors for each row are given in the Color Chart Week 12 for each of the three colorways or you can follow the general colorway in the table below.

A few words on yarn amounts. I heard that some of you are running out of Color C. Feel free to substitute Color C with Color B. For the join and border Colors B and C are not needed so after this week you will not be using them anymore.

*1hst in volgende 40 steken, (2hst, 2l, 2hst) in volgende 2l-hoek.

  • Color Crafter – 25cm
  • Stone Washed – 22cm
  • Sunkissed – 20cm

Video tutorials

If you appreciate a visual support to the pattern, you can follow the video for Lise which shows you how to make the original square.

After you have completed the original pattern you need to add an extra round using Color A to bring your total stitch count to 44 stitches. I also show you how to do this in a short video.

Share your squares

At this point you are done with all your squares, 35 squares in total! That is a VERY impressive stack of squares. I would love to see your squares all piled up. If you would like to share your work you can do so in the Official CCC Social Group on Facebook, share it on my Facebook page or tag me in your post on Instagram. If you use the hastag #NutsAboutSquares it will help me find it.

I hope to see all of you next week when we will be joining our blanket.

With love,
