I have seen so many beautiful blankets, it’s just amazing! At this point your Elements blanket is round, time to make it square again and add some decoration too. Time for part 6 of Elements CAL designed by Sandra from Hooks and Yarn.

Video tutorial Part 6
We are going to make the blanket a square again in the next two weeks, this week the first part. As always I show you step by step how to work the pattern.
Yarn & kits
There are official Elements CAL yarn kits available from Hooks and Yarn. I have made my own colorway using Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn in the following 5 colors.
- Color 1 – Moonstone (801)
- Color 2 – Lilac Quartz (818)
- Color 3 – Deep Amethyst (811)
- Color 4 – Lepidolite (830)
- Color 5 – Boulder Opal (804)
Scheepjes Stone Washed is available from Wool Warehouse (UK/International), Love Crochet (US), Knotty House (CA), Caro’s Atelier (NL/EU) or your local Scheepjes Stockist. In addition to the yarn you will also need a 4mm hook. Thank you for supporting my work by buying your yarn through the links on my blog. ❤
Colorway
I have used my 5 colors in the following way for Part 6. Sometimes I follow the order of the pattern, but not always. I used the Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn in combination with a 4mm hook.
- Round 44 – Boulder Opal 804
- Round 45 – Boulder Opal 804
- Round 46 – Moonstone 801
- Round 47 – Moonstone 801
- Round 48 – Lilac Quartz
My work is starting to bobble quite a bit again, but this doesn’t happen to everyone. If it happens to you also, don’t worry about it for the time being. Next week is a good moment to block your work. If you are following my color placement, leave your yarn attached because I am using the same color for the first round next week.
I would love to see your work. Feel free to share your work with me on my Facebook page, in my Facebook group It’s all in a Nutshell Crochet Nuts, tag me in one of your posts on Instagram or use #itsallinanutshell.
Next week we continue with part 7 in which our circle will start its road towards a square again.
With love,
Esther
