My brand new pouf is all done! I have named it my “Pouf of Many Colors”, because it really has many colors, more than a 100 colors. I turned 109 super cute little balls of yarn in a Scheepjes Cahlista Colour Pack into a seriously sized pouf.
I started out with a pile of 109 little 15g balls. These tiny balls are packaged in the Scheepjes Cahlista Colour Pack. These packs are available from Wool Warehouse (Ships International), Knotty House (USA/CA), Caro’s Atelier (NL/EU), Bol.com (NL) and many other Scheepjes retailers.
After some frogging and reconsidering, the finished pouf is impressive to day the least. It is about 75cm (30”) in diameter and 40cm (16”) high, but it will stretch larger if you stuff it more.
My boys use it as a bean-bag because it deforms into different shapes rather easily.
And my cats have discovered it also, good for sleeping and for jumping on when in a playful mood.
I am writing up the pattern to share with you next week. See you then.
With love,
Esther

I’ve been looking all over for a scrappy pouf pattern to make for our recently finished basement but just haven’t found the right one. This one looks perfect for what I was envisioning. I can’t wait to see the pattern!
