Part 6 of Charlotte’s Universe Blanket CAL is bit of déjà vu. In Part 6 we are repeating some of the rows we made in part 2, and turning the blanket back into a square. I am making my Strawberry Ice Cream version of Charlotte’s Universe using Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn. The pink and purple colors really work well together, even if I say so myself.

I have yarn kits available in my SHOP for Charlotte’s Universe Strawberry Ice Cream in Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn.
- 10 x Color A – 821 Pink Quartzite
- 9 x Color B – 820 Rose Quartz
- 5 x Color C – 810 Garnet
- 5 x Color D – 818 Lilac Quartz
- 5 x Color E – 811 Deep Amethyst

You can buy Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn from Wool Warehouse (UK/Int), The Knitting Network (UK/Int), Caro’s Atelier (NL/EU), and many other Scheepjes stockists world wide!
Here is my color placement for Charlotte’s Universe Part 6, I purposefully repeated the color placement I used for part 2 to give the blanket a wholistic feel.

For some of these rounds I do not follow the official color placement, meaning that sometimes I change colors where the original pattern does not and visa versa. You can either start the round with a standing stitch using the new color, or slip stitch to the corner and use the last slip stitch in the corner space to change colors.
Official Yarn Kits
There are three official colorways for the Charlotte’s Universe blanket; Vintage Charlotte, Sunshine Charlotte and Pink Charlie. You can of course make the blanket in any colorway you like, and knowing Dedri she will love to see all your color combinations! Dedri has made the original Vintage blanket using Scheepjes Softfun Aquarel (DK/Light Worsted Weight/#3).
If you would like to make your own color combination, you will need 37 balls of Scheepjes Softfun (DK/Light Worsted Weight/#3) in the following combination, where color B is the contrast color.
- 21 balls of Color A
- 10 balls of Color B
- 6 balls of Color C
You can find more tips and a coloring chart to help you find your perfect color placement on Dedri’s blog HERE.
There are Charlotte’s Universe kits available from Wool Warehouse (UK/Int), or you can purchase Scheepjes Stoftfun yarn individually from Caro’s Atelier (NL) or many Scheepjes stockists world wide!

Hi, Any idea when the Strawberry Icecream version quantities will be released?
i hope to have the amounts available today, and kits in my shop
I love Scheepjes XL yarn. What amount do you think I would need to order in that yarn?
I cannot make an estimate for you, I’m sorry. The XL is significantly thicker than the regular stone washed, so you will use a lot more yarn. Your blanket will also be VERY large an heavy. Possibly you will need double the yarn, and have a blanket that is double in size.
