That’s it, all done! The bind-off is the last thing to do when completing your sock (if you don’t count working away yarn tails that is). In the video tutorial I show how I cast off for my socks.

Video Tutorial
In the bind-off video tutorial I show you how to bind off your socks.
Pattern
Cast-off using a method of your choice. Fasten off the last stitch with a small knot by pulling the working yarn though the last stitch. Work away the yarn tail with an invisible join.
You can choose to cast-off in pattern (so knit the knits and pul the purls), or to do the cast-off by knitting all stitches. This is up to you.
You can also choose to do an extra stretchy bind-off by doing an extra yarn over between the stitches. I don’t do this in the video, because I feel if I make the stitches a little longer than normal, that will help to make my stitches stretchy enough. The extra yarn over makers for messy cuffs in my opinion.
And that’s it! all done, well almost, you must still make a second sock.
