Here is the first part in a short three-part series in which I will be releasing video tutorials for Charlotte, designed by Dedri Uys. The yarn that I am using is Secret Garden by Scheepjes in solid and variegated shades.

Video tutorial
In this first part of Charlotte I show you how to make the center square with its fabulous flower. The flower is thick and slightly raised above the square which gives it a very luxurious look and feel.
Colorway
The colors that I am using are Herb Garden, Wisteria Arch, Bird Bath and Wishing Well, all available from Wool Warehouse or your Scheepjes stockist with a 4mm hook.
Round | Color Number | Color Name |
1-2 | 735 | Wishing Well |
3-4 | 733 | Wisteria Arch |
5 | 736 | Bird Bath |
6-7 | 733 | Wisteria Arch |
8 | 736 | Bird Bath |
9 | 733 | Wisteria Arch |
10 | 736 | Bird Bath |
11 | 733 | Wisteria Arch |
12-15 | 736 | Bird Bath |
16-17 | 733 | Wisteria Arch |

Thank you for your Tutorial. As I am from Australia and have to convert your stitches to what we use I had trouble with the written pattern. After following your tutorial instructions which are so clear and easy to understand, you have renewed my enthusiasm in crocheting again. As I only knew sc dc ss and chain I feel I have master a great deal. Thank you again.
