Today the third part in the short three-part video tutorial for Charlotte, designed by Dedri Uys. I have showed you part 1 in which we made the central square, and part 2 in which we grew the square by adding triangles. Now time to grow the square even more by adding a butterfly border.

Video tutorial
In this third part of Charlotte I show you how to make the butterfly border. First we make a base round using the same color yarn as the triangles, and on this we then make the butterfly border.
Colorway
The colors that I am using are from the Scheepjes Secret Garden range, more specifically Herb Garden, Wisteria Arch, Bird Bath and Wishing Well, with a 4mm hook.
Scheepjes Secret Garden is available from Wool Warehouse (UK/Int), Caro’s Atelier (NL/EU), Love Crafts (US), and many other Scheepjes stockists.
Round | Color Number | Color Name |
29 | 702 | Herb Garden |
30 | 733 | Wisteria Arch |
31-36 | 735 | Wishing Well |
