Winter is coming and I have designed a warm winter wrap with a splash of color to brighten up the cold, dark days. The design is inspired by the waves of the river Rijn and the rolling hills of the landscape surrounding it.

Rijnland Wrap
The wrap I have designed uses 5 colors of Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn and has a triangular shape in which the colors are alternated. The pattern is worked with a 4.0mm (US 6/G) hook to obtain a warm fabric. I am very pleased with how my new design turned out. My completed wrap is 150cm (59 inch) wide and 75cm (29 inch) deep after blocking.
Pattern
The pattern for my Rijnland Wrap is now available in my Ravelry store. The written pattern is available in English (US Terms) and Dutch, and also contains a link to the video showing how to make the rolling stitches.
Video
The rolling hills and waves in the wrap are made by rolling over stitches. In the pattern I explain how to make the stitches, but maybe you prefer a visual guide. I have a video showing you how to make the one row in which we roll over the stitches.
If you make my Rijnland Wrap, please share your work with me on my Facebook page or tag me in one of your posts on Instagram. I would LOVE to see!
With love,
Esther

I do hope you mean the coupon code is good until November 19th and not October 19th. 😉

Yes, I do mean November. Time is getting away on me. I will correct it in the post. Thank you for noticing

That rolled edge is brilliant. What an interesting way to add texture! I was afraid when I first saw the photo that it might be picots, which I always worry will catch on things. I look forward to trying this new technique. Thank you for another beautiful design!
