Have you seen the new crochet book by Ana Morais Soares called Cozy Crochet Blankets to Snuggle Under. Ana is from One Skein of Love blog, and is the creator behind the MUST FOLLOW One Skein of Love account on Instagram, and she was one of the admins in my It’s all in a Nutshell Crochet Nuts Facebook group. I have never met Ana in person, but we have know each other for a few years now. I would like to show you her new book and what I made from it.
About Cozy Crochet Blankets
Cozy Crochet Blankets contains 15 colorful blankets in different styles and techniques, such as mosaic crochet and overlay crochet. There are easy blankets for the beginner, and more detailed blankets for those feeling up for a challenge! Each pattern has a written description, detailed photo tutorials for each step of the pattern and every blanket has a full color chart.
Cozy Crochet Blankets is available from Bol.com (NL), and Amazon, but also many other book and crochet shops.
Twinkeling Star Mandala
There are many lovely blankets in Ana’s book, but I cannot make all of them, time is just not on my side. I chose to make a small mandala from the center of the Twinkeling Star blanket, a beautiful blanket with many textured details. I would like to share with you how I made my mandala, and what you need to make it.

It is a very pretty mandala, especially in the colours you have chosen. However I ought to resist the temptation to make one as my todo list seems to be growing at an alarming rate. 🙂
